Just like the lace bra refashion from a few weeks ago, this DIY lingerie is quick and easy, can be completed in less than an hour, and can be made from what you already have lying around the house. Today we’ll be taking that old bra you have in the back of your dresser and refashioning it into something you’ll be excited to wear this Valentine’s Day.

How To Make DIY Lingerie
This project really is super simple. Get your chiffon and wrap it around your ribs- where the bottom of your bra sits. Now, if you’d like to add any gathers or pleats, add a few inches to either side of your chiffon. Cut your chiffon fabric to this new width.
Now decide how long you’d like your chiffon to drape. Trim the fabric to create a rectangle. You should have a fabric that looks similar to this:
Before moving on, hem your rectangular piece of chiffon fabric. This will make the process much easier if you decide to gather or pleat it.
Since this bra opens in the front, I’ll be pinning my chiffon at the center front next to the opening clasp. Begin around the base of your bra line, pinning the chiffon fabric into place on the inside of the bra to secure in place.
When you are done, your DIY lingerie should look like this (or reverse if your bra opens in the back)
Using a short, zig zag stitch, sew your chiffon to the underside of your bra using a thread that will blend into your bra. When you are done, try your new babydoll on!
