Today I am sooooo excited to share these matching DIY mommy and me t-shirt dresses!

Zoe was so excited to get her picture taken for this tutorial and is still sauntering around the house somewhere in this dress. I actually made two more for my other daughters but they weren’t with us at the photo shoot so you’ll have to see their later on my Instagram. Either way, aren’t these matching dresses the cutest things?!

The thing I love most about these DIY mommy and me dresses is that you can make them in any fabric you like! I plan on making more in a Black ITY Fabric so I can add a belt and wear it with boots for fall. You can whip each dress up in about an hour and half (including the time it takes to draw up your pattern (don’t stress- it’s so much easier than you think!)

These DIY mommy and me dresses are also soooooo comfortable. If you have kids, you know how important comfort is in kids clothing or else they just won’t wear it. I once tried to get my daughter in a stiff organza dress for Easter….. and while the photos were cute, she hated it.

These t-shirt dresses are absolutely perfect for family photos, vacations, Tuesdays…. really anytime you want you and your kids to match. Maybe I’ll even make some in neon colors- just so that when I bring all my kids to a busy playground, I can scan the area and pick them out easier. Haha!

I love how now Zoe wants to match every day. I really think it’s the sweetest thing.
