Good morning ladies! Have you ever noticed how often the most polished, chic clothes are also the simplest? While window shopping at a high-end boutique, I passed a dress similar to this one and was instantly drawn to it. The only thing I wasn’t drawn to was the high price tag. So, in today’s tutorial, we’ll be making the easiest DIY Tube Dress you’ve ever seen. Seriously!
DIY Tube Dress Pattern
Even better, today’s dress pattern tutorial can easily be converted to a DIY Tube Top just by shortening the bottom. You don’t need to make any other changes whatsoever to the tutorial to make this cute little top, it’s a great little sleeve pattern to have in your sewing pattern arsenal. I want one in every color this year, it’s a great main piece for a capsule wardrobe because it is so versatile! It can be a cute top or a day dress, a party dress, a winter, spring, or summer dress. It makes a great addition to any wardrobe.
Or keep it long and make this polished, sexy little dress. The unique look of the tie sleeves add just the right level of detail to make this DIY tube dress perfect for your next date night. Look out, it may be a perfect dress for a Valentine’s Day date! I love it in blush, my color of choice lately. 🙂 It could even be great in a floral print.
In the next few weeks, I’ll be posting the top piece of this tutorial to really take the DIY tube dress to the next level with a DIY Jumpsuit bottom! It’s seriously the most comfortable thing! It’s a great piece to help you move into your spring wardrobe, and then the summer season. I know you are going to love it! I’ll be posting this tutorial later, be sure to keep checking back.
