DIY Gladiator Sandals:

First, start by deciding where you want your fabric embellishments to be. Place them over your shoes to get an idea on the length you’ll need and cut. I always cut my embellishments about a centimeter too big… because you can always trim the excess but it sucks if your just a bit too short.

In a well ventilated room, carefully apply a thin layer of E6000 glue where you want your pom pom detail to lay. Secure your embellishments in place and let dry for a few hours before trying them on.

Once they are dry, slip them on and enjoy!

DIY Ballet Flats:

To create the more casual, ballet flats I used to same steps but went for a different overall look.

I used small binder clips to secure the pom poms in place while the glue dried since it began slipping when I left it to dry. Depending on the shoes you choose to refashion, you may want to do the same.

Within about 30 minutes, you should have some new, pom pom sandals in less time than it would have taken you to go shoe shopping. 🙂
