Today I’m so excited to share one of my very first printable clothing patterns! I’m so grateful AllFreeSewing picked it up and featured this shift dress pattern on their website HERE.
This little spring dress makes me so proud because I dreamed it up from start to finish, and then was also able to convert that pattern to a simple pdf form so you can print it off from any standard printer at home.
As a creative person (and not necessarily a techy person) learning the new software to create this shift dress pattern for you was all-consuming for a bit. However, I’m so glad I did and am even more excited to make designs for you in the future. What should we create together next?

Ruffle Sleeve Dress Details
This dress comes with a super-simple and free printable pattern and step by step tutorial that can be completed in about two hours. The waist sash defines your waist in a comfortable way that completely takes the guesswork out of sewing the perfect fit.
You can also lengthen and shorten the hemline of this DIY dress to create midi dresses, maxi dresses, and the mini dress pictured in this tutorial. That’s the joy in handmade clothes after all right? You get to add your own personality and hack the pattern to make it your own.
As for materials, a lightweight polyester, cotton, or linen will work beautifully. I chose a Crepe Satin to sew the photographed dress and love the drape and texture it provides.
